Second Cup sent me (along with some other people) an email yesterday to set up an interview. I suppose I can consider it as good news if I disregard the fact that I gave them my resume three months ago.

I will admit I am slightly tempted because their store location is so much more closer to my house. Anything to cut down on commuting time though I doubt I can work much either way when school starts...which according to the coutdown on my phone, is in 18 days. >_>

By the by, the Canadian National Exihibiton opens today. Our Toronto weather has been quite wonky for the entire day so I'm most certainly glad I am not scheduled to work. I can't say the same for my brother though. Haha poor guy has to work in an outdoor booth too.

Currently, I am bumming around the house. If I weren't so lazy I'd be at the MAC pro store on Queen street. I wanna check out if their Cult of Cherry collection is out yet. Not sure if I like the autumn shades but I wanna poke at it for fun. I have some really urgent items in my MAC wish list right now. I want the Viva Glam V Lipstick pretty badly.

[Edit] Holy smokes, I almost forgot to talk about this. The Harry Potter movie is moved to next July (boo!) but...BUT the Twilight movie is being moved up to November 21st from December. OMFGGG YEAH! YEAHHHHHH trick yeah!

My co-workers are all supporting the notion of me going blond. Don't get me wrong, I'm not really going to bleach/dye my hair but it just made me smile how all my co-workers are so enthusiastic. I love the girls I work with. ♥ Zoe even pointed out that she saw a few lolitas during a shift a couple days ago. It's heart warming to know that the girls DO care about my interests. (Reminder: must to reply to Monica about planning Vanessa's baby shower.)

oniwitch, I know you called me sometime during work today but seeing as my little brother is not the the most reliable way for me to get a message, you could've just sent an email or left a note on facebook.

Going uptown tomorrow. I want Asian merchandise STAT! I need it to remind myself during my stay in prison res that life sucks a little less because the world has Korean boys.

Friday - I get off work at 10pm. I will miss all the Potter events on Bay street but I will be there in time for the actual book release on midnight. Still debating whether I want to attend. It's no fun when everyone else is too busy to accompany me.

It getting harder and harder for me to stop myself from using the monies in my paypal. *Must save for celga payment*

Otsuka Ai - I remember someone saying this quite a while ago on some forum (I is vague) and I whole-heartedly agree. She is capable of singing yet every once in a while often she releases these cutesy songs in that cutesy voice that drives me up the wall. It's obvious with the remake of Hana Kimi craze I'm referring to this as the most recent example.

I bought candies for all my friends because I love giving people candy (even to those I don't really know :D)

Homemade marshmallow eggs dipped in belgian chocolate. Belgian chocolate bunnies and chicklets in different shapes and sizes. Dutch foiled eggs and bunnies. German foiled egg in actual eggs size. Yogurt covered pretzels. Sour gummy bunnies. British treacle toffee. Hersheys chocolate and malt Robins's Eggs.

The bad news is that I work so much I haven't been able to see any of you and candy does NOT stay long in my hands. So if I don't see any of you in a week or two most likely I opened up and ate your Easter goody packages. Very honest here. Haha ^^

You wouldn't believe the junk I ate for the last three days. x_x

Anyway, have a lovely, lovely long weekend or what's left of it. I hope your holiday has gone better than mine because I worked from Good Friday to today and will have to work tomorrow. (My body is still hurting from yesterday's 11 hour shift.)

Eating bars after bars of chocolate covered turkish delight - cause my taste buds are oddly attached to that stuff.

Surfed online to scavenge for other British brands I want to try out and came upon this website. I was pretty pissed off after reading it.

The filling had kind of an odd taste. WTF? It's TURKISH FREAKING DELIGHT! The Fry's bar they are commenting on is one of better ones because it emulates what genuine turkish delight tastes like. It's just so strange to read comments from people who seem like they don't even realize that Turkish Delight is an actual food and not just some bogus name invited by companies to get you to buy their shit. (Read: MacDonald's "Happy Meals")

Let me interrupt here to threaten you: Mention The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and/or proganda theories and I keel you! *Stab stab stab* >:[ I work at a candy store, I heard the joke and variations a bajillion times. If I hear it one more time, I go TNT on your face.

As I was saying, Fry's bar isn't perfect but it is sure as heck better than fake jelly stuff in poorer quality bars like the Needlers version. For those who enjoy that jelly stuff, Cadbury's Dairy Milk Turkish is pretty good. More conventional taste and none of that stickiness.

In conclusion, this addiction is costing me big bucks unlike those lucky peeps in the UK, I pay import price for all teh yummies - Double Deckers, Flakes. :(

Work screws me over again. Sticking me with two newbies and a pile of work to do. And is it too much to ask for a schedule that doesn't get changed four times a week? It pisses me off so much how other workers decide to just take the damn weekend off by fucking with my schedule. My boss bitched at me for not checking my schdule when I came in at 1:00pm instead of opening. Well, what kind of fucking job is it if I have to call in every single day to see if my time has changed? He had no right to yell at me for coming in at the wrong time when OTHER PEOPLE CHANGE MY SCHEDULE without informing me. I hate working with selfish assholes. I had to fucking change the store's lightbulb too because along with everything else that went wrong, the damned light had to die today.

I went home early at five because my shift ended up being only four hours. Spent the rest of the day sleeping because I killed my arms lifting the new shipments that came in.

[Edit] And one more thing. Why the hell am I only working two days a week int he summer? How is this different from when I'm I school?
