The band for the most part was great, the audience not so much. oniwitch and I have been shoved, elbowed, humped, and squished within an inch of our lives. The sweat and smells were terrible and for a long while I had a freaking tall person stand right in front of me before the crowd got shove happy again and he shifted aside to block some other unfortunate people. I saw many girls suffocating and being carried out of the crowd. (Rumor said it was 20 of them.) This was a seriously shitty audience.

There was one little asshat would loved elbowing us to get to closer. He kept trying to shove past me and onwitch but we held on to each other as best we can. Mr. Elbows and the rest of the crazy bastards that make up the Dir en grey fandom needs to calm the fuck down.

On a lighter note, we were in the middle of crowd on Kaoru's side...somehow a few meters closer to the stage than where we began because of the surge of shoving that moved us up. He and Toshiya seemed pretty good about interacting with the fans as evidenced by two facefuls of water and saliva. I wasn't paying attention the first time and the next thing I knew there was water covering my face and dripping down my shirt. The second time I was prepared and made sure my mouth was closed. :S

oniwitch had Kaoru's pick thrown at her, smacking her forehead front and center. No fighting with rabid fangirls involved. Quite lucky actually. Our other friend, got Toshiya's gigantic bass pick but some fighting was involved on his part.

I didn't really care for Kyo's self mutilation. I don't get it. Judging from his other scars, he must have done the same on their other shows. *Cringe* Maybe it's because I am not a big enough of a fan to appreciate it but I find the whole thing to be very unnecessary.

Aside from the worst audience ever (though they did calm down later on), I suppose the night ended fairly well with Dir en grey's fantastic encore and Kyo's "RAPE ME" bucket.

The staff seemed a little rude but I suspect they keep up the attitude in order to get the fans moving.

Oh yeah, we had on 30 dB earplugs the whole time. Fandom is fleeting but hearing loss is forever. =3

Other peeves:

- Cybergoth chicks Goth chicks in general
- Black x white and K-Star lolitas Any lolitas at a concert (during mid-winter no less)
- Face mask wearers (their stupidity is right next to the nose strap wearers)
- Smokers (FUCK YOU and your cancer sticks)
- "OMG, you're Japanese. You're so lucky!11" girl
- Girl screaming "DUR en grey DUR en grey" in the back
- Bag search lady who confiscated my Yan Yans. (Who the hell am I gonna injure with my Yan Yans? I'm sure they only slightly more dangerous than Pockys -_-)
