Her energy onstage is much better than last week, I think since she was so disappointed in herself last time, she came on stage today with a positive mindset and I can really see that in her eyes.

They cut the dance this week, maybe they think it didn't quite belong there, I don't know how I feel about that, since I kinda liked the couple dance.... it was sexxxayy hahah

but this performance is cool too, one tiny girl on a huge stage, seems empty but her powerful voice filled it up all the way :)

I dont think I mentioned I went to Disneylandddddddddd last month~

I didnt want to post about it until I had some pictures to post~
But actually none of the pictures turned out nice T_T
I have one I can show you and I will write about my time~~





I went to LA on 13,14,15 of october~
First I took greyhound to seattle and me and my bf had a
horrible time trying to find a bus which goes to SEA haha
We almost missed our flight!
it was a long day on the 13th, we woke up at 4am to
catch the 5.50am bus to seattle....too early.

It was the first time I saw like popcorn looking clouds~ so cute

I totally picked the wrong days to go to LA because on the 13th and 14th it was
raining sooo freakin much and I was thinking like " FUCK THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE SUNNY CALI!!!!"
It was pretty much same as Vancouver!! (we are rain city~)

I was surprised.... trying to take the bus to downtown and there was almost no white people lol
I guess I should have researched some places to go, because I had
a bad time not knowing where we were going and it was raining like holy shitttttttt
I dont really like being on the bus in L.A. it takes a long time....
im so used to express buses here and the skytrain! takes no time at all to get to the major areas~


on the 2nd day was our disneyland date~

I had a huge dissapointment. well 2!
the castle was totally not as big as I thought it was going to be!
and I couldnt meet the princesses!!! I only saw pooh, mickey, captain hook and the evil witch in snow white??

It was a lot of fun though, even though some rides were closed because of the rain T_T


3rd day we spent a few hours in hollywood because I didnt know where else to go~
I found a mall to go to but not many interesting shops... I was happy they had beard papa's though~
we spent the rest of the day travelling back to canada!!
(flight to seattle was 4.10pm, greyhound we caught at 10pm and reached vancouver around 2am so late~)

it was an OK trip. Just ok~ could have been worse, could have been better~

shit tho me and my bf were stopped at the border and all our luggage was checked and we were being
interviewed by the police for so long............ and when we finall got back on the bus the people were
looking at us like "omg you made our trip so much longer...." lol


Next time if I ever go to LA im gonna ask the lovely diamond ladies to show me around haha~

I've been wanting to buy an AP beret. Ideally I'd like the Melty Chocolate in black but I'm open too. :)

So, one of the customers I met while working part-time at my job then added on FB because I know VERY LITTLE number of boys (most of them are gay as it is) that sew.

He recently invited me to be part of a charity fashion show with him at UWO this March. It's called the OMH fashion show for breast cancer. I don't have many details yet but I think for the most part I may just be able to commit. The thing is, having been kicked out moved out from home my stuff is still scattered until A. and I find a decent place. I can whip up clothes and designs in under 6 months: he says I will need 8 pcs. minimum. That is NOTHING. My only concern is blouses - I will have to stick with cutsews because I HATE making blouses that probably won't fit.

The only thing is that I feel that I am not up to the job. Most of the designers shown will most likely NOT be as avant garde in terms of the showcasing of their works. I mean, for gods' sake I mostly make Lolita clothing and the theme this year is ROCK AND ROLL... The last fashion show I was part of the model ripped my beaded and feather-work mermaid skirt and I was 17 at the time. Not my fault she got fucking fat in a month. I cried for like 3 days. I was a MESS.

Left me with fashion flight jitters. Scarred! I have helped host a fashion show, given aspiring students a head-up for patterns and such...but to do this again is scary. I really want to do it. But, this in the end is a hobby for me. People say it gives me a chance to showcase my 'brand'...but, what am I going to say when all those around me are in FASHION DESIGN and I am in Environmental Studies? Yeah, this is tooootally a hobby for me. I am not even sure if I want to start a brand. Are people ready for me? Is this world ready for me?

In other words, I just realized that An Nguyen - the chick doing that Sociolgy project on Lolita fashion attends UWO. I wonder...can something come out of this?
